odd and unsettling

i bought my child one as a christmas gift from santa after hearing good things from a parent's group. once i brought it home and started to wrap it in christmas paper i noticed how unsettlig it's face was in that box. finding it hard to undertsand the appeal, its like this toy is haunting our household.

annoying noise coming from toy, do not buy!

bought it for my child for christmas last year. my child loved it but our dog would not stop whining at it. i thought she was just scared of it but a few days ago the toy started emtting a high-pitched noise and occasional beeping sounds. it was annoying but think that was the sound that was distressing our dog months earlier. but we just couldn't hear it. last night i woke up to my dog barking, i noticed the sound had stopped so i went to check on her and she had chewed the toy it seems there is a small part making the noise but i don't know what it is. here is the picture:
